Operationalizing Analytics for Business Value

Among organizations in every business sector there is a growing interest in operationalizing analytics—integrating analytics into operational processes and systems. At TDWI, we see increasing awareness that operationalizing analytics (including machine learning, text analytics, and forecasting models) produces real business value. For example, manufacturers are using models to predict if or when parts will fail. In retail, models determine what offers to make to specific consumers and when customers might be most receptive to those offers.
