Yahoo has launched the Yahoo Scout, an AI-powered search-and-answer platform designed to compete with Google AI Mode and Perplexity. According to LiveMint, the new Yahoo answer engine replaces traditional link-heavy search results with direct, conversational responses. The platform is currently available in the United States in beta.
