  • Salesforce has unveiled a new version of its AI agent platform, Agentforce 360
  • Agentforce 360 allow enterprises to develop, control, and launch AI agents with ease
  • Salesforce will launch a Beta version of Agenforce 360 in November 2025

Software giant Salesforce has launched the latest version of its AI agent platform. According to TechCrunch, the new platform, Salesforce Agentforce 360, was unveiled ahead of the company’s yearly Dreamforce Customer Conference, which is scheduled to start on October 14, 2025.

What is Salesforce Agentforce 360?

Agentforce 360 is a Salesforce software platform designed to help enterprises to develop, control and launch AI agents at scale with ease. Software firms are racing to boost their products with advanced features as competition intensifies.

Through the new AI agent platform, Salesforce is looking to attract enterprise customers and help them automate routine tasks. The company said Agentforce enterprise AI platform will be accessible globally across its cloud-based tools suite.

Agentforce 360 comes with several new features, which include:

  • Ability to instruct AI agents through text
  • New platform for building and deploying AI agents
  • New infrastructure for Slack

Salesforce unveiled its AI agent platform months after a report by tech research and advisory firm Gartner showed that more than 40% of agentic AI projects will be terminated by the end of 2027.

Salesforce to Launch a Beta Version of Agentforce 360

Salesforce plans to release a beta version of Agentforce 360 in November 2025. This version will feature a new AI agent prompting tool, Agent Script. With this Agent Script, users will be able to program their agents for better responses and more flexibility using the “if/then” approach. This helps AI agents respond more reliably in flexible situations, like answering customer questions.

Enterprises can program the AI agents developed on Agentforce 360 with reasoning models. These models, which have been developed by OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, are designed to think before generating responses as opposed to following patterns.

Another tool that will come with the Agentforce 360 Beta version is an agent building tool called Agentforce Builder. With this tool, enterprises can build, test, and launch AI agents all in one place. AgentBuildier comes with an enterprise-grade app vibe coding tool called Agentforce Vibes which Salesforce introduced at the beginning of this month.

Integrating Agentforce 360 with Slack

Besides launching Agent 360, Salesforce said its new AI agent platform will integrate with messaging app, Slack. According to the software giant, its main apps like Agentforce Sales, HR, and IT will be accessible through Slack.

Salesforce plans to introduce and expand additional features starting this month through to early 2026. Already, Slack is testing a new version of Slackbot chatbot. The chatbot serves as a personal AI assistant that learns its user and offers useful suggestions and insights. In the future, Salesforce wants to turn Slack into a workplace search tool.

To achieve this, the software firm plans to link the messaging app to services such as Outlook, Gmail, and Dropbox at the beginning of 2026. In June 2025, Salesforce blocked AI access to Slack data for external companies. The update meant third-party software companies could no longer store or search through Slack messages.

Salesforce Faces Growing Competition

Salesforce launched Agentforce 360 at a time when major tech companies are introducing new AI features for enterprises. Last week, Google launched Gemini Enterprise, an AI-powered platform designed to bring Google AI to every workflow.

With its new suite of AI tools, Google competes directly with Microsoft’s 365 Copilot as it monetizes its AI investment. The tech giant has already enlisted enterprises such as Figma, Virgin Voyages, and Klarna as its early customers.

AI startup Anthropic is also targeting businesses with Claude Enterprise. Anthropic seeks to shape enterprise AI deployment through a deal that will make Claude accessible to 470,000 employees in professional services firm, Deloitte. This is the largest enterprise deal for the AI startup.
