Samsung Takes on Comet, Chrome With New Agentic Browser for Windows

In Focus

  • Samsung’s AI browser supports cross-device browsing experience
  • The new browser runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11
  • Users can interact with its built-in AI agent using natural language
  • The browser agent can generate contextual outputs for users

Samsung Electronics has expanded its influence beyond mobile devices following the launch of a Browser. The new Samsung agentic AI browser for Windows allows users to continue browsing across devices. The browser also brings a range of agentic capabilities to the Windows operating system.

The tech giant claims that its browser AI agent comes with multi-tab context awareness abilities that allow users to compare content across multiple tabs.

A Pleasant Browsing Experience for Users

Samsung said the new browser offers users a positive browsing experience by enabling them to pick up where they left off on their mobile devices. This means if a user has opened a webpage on a mobile device, they can continue viewing it on a PC when they start using it. The same applies to bookmarks and browsing history.

Beyond simple synchronization of bookmarks and browsing history, users can pick up exactly where they left off,” Samsung stated on its website.

Samsung’s internet browser can be downloaded on PCs that run on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Currently, the cross-device browser syncing feature is available in two countries, South Korea and the U.S. The tech giant plans to expand access in other regions in the coming months.

The new browser is designed to integrate with Samsung Pass, allowing users to store their credentials securely. This integration also makes it possible for users to autofill their login details and other personal information across personal computers.

Samsung introduced its browser weeks after Perplexity introduced an agentic AI platform that works with the Mac Mini.

New Browser Offers a Range of AI Features

Agentic capabilities are among the top highlights of the Samsung Browser. The South Korean tech giant says users can interact with its built-in AI agent using natural language. Developed in collaboration with Perplexity, the Samsung browser AI assistant comes with a Multi-tab Context Awareness feature that enables it to simultaneously compare content across multiple tabs.

The AI agent then presents the content in a single view. With these capabilities, users can summarize content, navigate browsing history, manage tabs, and retrieve information from the browser. Samsung browser’s AI agent is also designed to generate contextual outputs. For instance, users can task the agent to generate a travel itinerary using the content available on a specific webpage.

The tech giant says the agent can also search videos to find specific moments. Users can task it to retrieve pages they visited previously instead of using keywords and dates to locate them.

Comparing Samsung Browser With Other Browsers

With the new AI browser, Samsung will be competing against Perplexity’s Comet and Google’s Chrome browsers. The two companies have already integrated AI into their browsers. In November 2025, Perplexity added the Comet Browser to the Android App following weeks of testing.

Like the Samsung AI browser, the Comet browser can generate summaries from users’ searches and work across tabs. However, the Comet browser allows users to use voice to query the AI browser and features a built-in ad blocker, features that are not available in the Samsung browser.
