How Picsart’s New Agentic Platform Transforms Creative Workflows

In Focus

  • Creators can access four sets of AI agents on the Picsart AI agent marketplace
  • Flair agents are the most sophisticated on the platform
  • Users can resize images and videos using Resize Pro agents

Design platform Picsart is introducing an agent marketplace where creators can hire AI assistants. According to TechCrunch, AI agents on the Picsart marketplace can complete a range of tasks. These include editing product images on Shopify and remixing or resizing social content.

Creators have been stuck as the operator of every workflow, the one doing, not deciding. Our agents change that relationship, you set direction, the agent builds a plan using real data, you approve, it executes,” Picsart Founder and CEO, Hovhannes Avoyan noted.

Four Sets of AI Agents Accessible to Creators

With platforms such as OpenClaw fueling demand for agentic chatbots, the launch of Picsart AI agents for creators is both strategic and timely. The AI-powered platform plans to introduce specialized agents every week. For starters, creators can access four sets of AI agents namely Flair, Resize Pro, Remix, and Swap.

Flair is Picsart’s most complex set of AI agents. The agents are designed to integrate with Shopify and serve as assistants for store owners. These AI assistants can analyze market trends for online shop owners. Additionally, the agents can recommend ways to improve online shops, such as editing product photos.

Picsart plans to update Flair agents to enable them to conduct A/B tests, locate underperforming products, and suggest ways to improve their sales performance. The Picsart AI assistant marketplace launched when NVIDIA is introducing NemoClaw, an open-source agentic platform for enterprises.

AI Agents Can Edit Images for Creators

The AI tools in the Picsart agent marketplace can resize images and videos for creators. The Resize Pro agent is designed to align such content to the recommended dimensions on different platforms. Where the original media is smaller, the AI-powered tool extends the frame while maintaining a professional appearance.

Using the Remix agent, creators can edit existing images to suit their desired themes. For instance, they can prompt the AI agent to create styles like “watercolor”, “vintage film”, or “cyberpunk”. Creators can use this AI assistant to change backgrounds in bulk images.

In addition to the AI design platform update, Picsart integrates its agentic tools with social media platforms like Telegram and WhatsApp. This is because the APIs in these applications allow businesses to set up AI chatbots. The design platform plans to expand these integrations as more social media platforms include similar tools.

As agents extend to messaging apps creators already use, that conversation happens anywhere, at your desk or from the subway,” Avoyan added.

How Does Picsart Address the Risk of Hallucination?

Software that is powered by large language models can hallucinate or perform actions that creators never intended. To address this risk, Picsart allows users to establish autonomy levels for agents like Flair.

This allows creators to issue approval before the AI agents can take action. This approach also reduces exposure to prompt injection attacks. Like other AI platforms, Picsart has adopted the free plan model, offering users limited credits every week. However, users have the option of subscribing to the platform for about $10 per month, billed annually.
