Meta Introduces AI Model to Enhance Immersive Metaverse Experiences

Facebook’s owner Meta has presented a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool that can change the way users communicate in the Metaverse. According to Reuters, Meta said on Thursday, 12th December 2024 that it is releasing a new AI model, Meta Motivo.

The Meta release of the new AI model has created a buzz as it can control the movement of human-like digital agents. Meta has been investing heavily in AI after showcasing AR glasses at the Connect 2024 event in September this year.

Meta has been releasing a lot of AI models to be tested by developers. The company said in a statement, “We believe this research could pave the way for fully embodied agents in the Metaverse, leading to more lifelike NPCs, democratization of character animation, and new types of immersive experiences.

Recently the tech giant also invested $1 billion in Donald Trump’s inaugural fund to mend its relationship with the government, as its upcoming term is forecasted to benefit AI and Big Tech companies.
