Grammarly has rebranded as Superhuman and launched an AI agent, Superhuman Go. According to Gadget360, Superhuman AI assistant launch saw the company introduce the agentic tool across devices and platforms. The popular writing assistant Grammarly will continue to exist.
Superhuman Go agentic AI assistant is a tool that offers users proactive suggestions as they work. The AI agent harnesses a team of first and third-party AI agents that understand work context. The AI agent can write and generate auto-drafts or summaries.
It can check calendars and emails and help users schedule meetings, which is different from Perplexity’s email management AI agent.
These capabilities are derived from its ability to utilize different knowledge hubs to complete complex tasks. Like the Grammarly writing assistant, the Superhuman Go AI agent is a prompt-less tool.
Key Superhuman Go features include:
The company said Superhuman Go is part of the four products that make up its new Superhuman suite. The others are Mail’s Intelligent inbox, Coda’s all-in-one workspace, and Grammarly’s writing assistant.
Superhuman Go currently connects and gets information from Microsoft Outlook and Google Workspace. Recently, Google brought Google AI to every workflow with Gemini Enterprise.
Developers can bring third-party agents to the AI assistant using the Superhuman Agents SDK. Companies like Fireflies, Speechify, Parallel, and Common Room have already created new agents for Go.
“We built Superhuman Go because we believe AI should reduce friction, not create it. Go learns how you work and meets you there,” Superhuman CPO Noam Lovinsky said.
A Quick Preview of Superhuman AI Assistant Launch
Grammarly’s new brand Superhuman launch comes barely a year after the company acquired Superhuman Mail at the beginning of 2025. The company made a rare decision to take up the identity of the acquired firm.
The rebranding efforts bring Coda, Grammarly, and Superhuman Mail under a single brand. Grammarly acquired Coda in 2024.
The company said its new brand reflects its shift into an AI-native productivity platform for agents and apps. Microsoft recently added AI enhancements to Windows 11 to increase Copilot adoption. Superhuman seeks to unlock the unique potential in every customer by making AI easier to use.
“The name Superhuman reflects our belief that AI should amplify human capability, not replace it or force people to adapt to its limitations,” Superhuman CEO Shishir Mehrotra said.
