Tesla’s Chip Strategy and Samsung Deal
The Tera-Fab facility complements Tesla’s broader in-house chip production strategy, which includes the upcoming AI6 chips for self-driving vehicles and Optimus humanoid robots. The AI6 production timeline is designed to meet Tesla’s growing demand for autonomous compute, ensuring high-performance and efficiency for robotics applications.
