The Consumer Electronics Show concluded in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9, becoming a significant stage that spanned robotics, AI systems, smart home technologies and advanced computing. Beyond humanoids, innovative robot vacuum designs such as Roborock’s Saros Rover featured wheel-leg architecture capable of climbing stairs and navigating complex floor plans, addressing a longstanding challenge in home cleaning robotics. Consumer-centric robots also included companions with AI for emotional engagement, such as Sichuan and Ludens AI’s Cocomo and Sirius robotic companions positioned as partners for learning and social interaction.

As stated in The Economic Times, Consumer Technology Association Executive Chair and CEO Gary Shapiro gave a statement asserting that CES is the world’s most powerful platform for innovation. “CES is more than a showcase; it’s where technology meets community, business, and policy. Global leaders, startups, and policymakers came together to highlight technologies that will define the next decade of economic growth and competitiveness.”

CES 2026 extended into consumer electronics with next-generation televisions, displays and mobile form factors. Hisense debuted a 116 inch RGB Mini LED TV with expanded colour gamut and improved blue light reduction, while companies continued to refine OLED and transparent display concepts for immersive viewing experiences.

The event also highlighted computing and PC hardware innovations. Thousands of exhibitors displayed advanced components, laptops and peripherals that integrated AI performance features and improved thermal management.
