Atlassian is introducing AI agents and tools that can convert data into visual applications and assets. Atlassian’s Confluence AI tools are designed to help enterprise teams convert text into compelling visual stories quickly.
An AI Agent that Visualizes Data
Atlassian’s AI productivity features include a Remix tool that can visualize data. With this tool, enterprises can convert the information and data stored in Confluence into graphics and charts. Confluence is a content collaboration software owned by Atlassian.
“With Remix and agents in Confluence, a single page becomes the starting point for whatever comes next: a clear story for leaders, a prototype for builders, or a walkthrough for customers, all from the same source of truth. When you remove that friction, teams do more than manage documents; they create the next generation of products and experiences,” Senior VP of Teamwork Collaboration at Atlassian, Sanchan Saxena noted as cited by TechCrunch.
Atlassian’s Remix AI feature analyzes data or information and suggests suitable visual formats. Confluence AI visualization tools also develop the content assets with the same workspace, without requiring users to switch to other applications.
Agent Launch Points to Atlassian’s AI Strategy
The move to introduce AI agents reflects Atlassian’s strategy of embedding artificial intelligence tools into the applications that enterprises already use, instead of launching new platforms. In February 2026, the software giant added AI agents into its product management software, Jira.
Atlassian’s approach to AI is shaped by the fact that enterprises in different industries prefer to embed artificial intelligence tools into existing workflows rather than adopting separate AI-powered software. Software giant, Salesforce, initially launched a separate agent management platform, Agentforce.
However, the company has shifted focus to introducing AI tools through existing platforms. Recently, Salesforce upgraded Slack, bringing 30 new AI features to the collaborative platform. The Slack AI upgrade included a revamped Slackbot with reusable AI skills.
AI developer OpenAI has also adopted this approach. Earlier this year, the company announced the Frontier Alliance Initiative. The initiative involves partnering with leading consulting firms to expand its presence in the enterprise market. The initiative allows OpenAI engineers to work with consulting teams to train staff in enterprises and support the implementation of AI agents.
Integration With Third-Party AI Agents
Atlassian is also integrating three third-party agents into Confluence through model context protocols (MCPs). One of the agents links Confluence users to Lovable, an AI platform that converts natural language prompts into working applications.
By connecting users to Lovable, Atlassian allows them to convert data and product ideas into operational prototypes quickly. Another agent will link users to app development software Replit, where they can turn technical documents into starter applications. A third agent will connect users to Gamma, where they can convert data into presentations.
