Amazon has officially kicked off its Big Spring Sale for 2026, running from March 25 through March 31. The week-long event covers more than 35 categories, spanning electronics, fashion and home essentials, discoverable through its AI Shopping Assistant, Rufus.
New this year are three curated “Top 100+” deal lists, daily themed deal drops, and Doorbuster discounts starting at 40% off. Alongside the sale, Amazon has also rolled out 1-hour and 3-hour delivery options in hundreds of U.S. cities.
Echo Spot and iPad Lead Amazon Tech Deals
Two tech devices stand out in the spring sale. The Echo Spot, Amazon’s compact half-sphere smart speaker with a built-in touch screen, is available at $30 off. PCMag praised it for audio quality that exceeds its size and a display well-suited for weather updates and smart home controls.
The 11th-generation iPad, an Editors’ Choice pick, carries a $50 discount. It features a five-core CPU, four-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine, and 6GB of RAM, up from 4GB in the prior model. Battery life is rated at roughly 10 hours per charge.
How Rufus AI Finds the Best Deals
Amazon is leaning on Rufus, its agentic AI shopping assistant, as the primary tool for deal discovery this year. The feature includes price alerts, Price History tracking, and an auto-buy option for automated purchasing. Prime members also unlock additional exclusive pricing across all electronics and seasonal categories.
In a related development, a federal court issued a preliminary injunction blocking Perplexity’s AI shopping agent from accessing Amazon’s platform.
Why Tech Buyers Should Pay Attention
This years Big Spring Sale is made more convenient through Amazon’s AI Shopping Assistant. It is a centerpiece of the company’s broader push to combine competitive hardware pricing, AI-driven discovery, and accelerated delivery into a single commerce experience.
For tech buyers and enterprise teams tracking where Amazon shopping deals fit into procurement strategy, this sale offers both immediate value and a window into AI-mediated retail.
