    ​Jon works closely with OpenSearch and Amazon OpenSearch Service, providing help and guidance to a broad range of customers who have generative AI, search, and log analytics workloads for OpenSearch. Prior to joining AWS, Jon’s career as a software developer included four years of coding a large-scale, eCommerce search engine. Jon holds a Bachelor of the Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from Northwestern University.

    Amanda helps organizations build and scale generative AI applications with Amazon Bedrock. Prior to joining AWS, Amanda led strategic go-to-market efforts for high growth technology companies. Amanda is passionate about helping accelerate the growth of the tech community through programs to support gender equality, entrepreneurship and STEM education.

    ​Mani Khanuja is a Principal Generative AI Specialist SA, and an author of the book Applied Machine Learning and High-Performance Computing on AWS. She leads artificial intelligence (AI) projects in various domains such as computer vision, natural language processing, and generative AI. She speaks at internal and external conferences such AWS re:Invent, Women in Manufacturing West, YouTube webinars, and GHC 23. In her free time, she likes to go for long runs along the beach.
