Major Highlights
Rocket.new, one of India’s earliest vibe coding startups, has raised $15 million in a seed funding round led by Salesforce Ventures, with participation from Accel and Together Fund, according to TechCrunch. The Surat-based company is developing an artificial intelligence-powered platform that enables businesses, entrepreneurs, and developers to build production-ready applications and websites from natural language prompts, bypassing traditional coding requirements.
The seed round comes shortly after Rocket.new’s beta launch in June 2025, reflecting rapid early adoption. The platform has attracted nearly 400,000 registered users across 180 countries. Its revenue is concentrated in major markets, with the United States contributing approximately 26 percent, Europe accounting for 15 to 20 percent, and India generating around 10 percent of total revenue.
Rocket.new reports over 10,000 paid subscribers and a current annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $4.5 million. The company has set ambitious growth targets, planning to reach an ARR of $20–25 million by the end of 2025 and $60–70 million by June 2026. The funding will support platform development, user acquisition, and expansion into international markets.

The AI vibe coding platform integrates large language models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google Gemini, complemented by Rocket.new’s proprietary deep learning systems trained on in-house datasets sourced from its previous developer tool, DhiWise. Unlike simpler code generation tools, the platform emphasizes end-to-end software delivery, including deployment, iteration, maintenance, and scalability, aiming to reduce long-term development dependencies.
On average, the system takes approximately 25 minutes to generate a full production-ready application. While slower than prototype-focused tools, this approach ensures more comprehensive functionality. Rocket.new will compete with popular AI coding platforms like Lovable, Cursor, and Bolt by enabling users to create complete, production-ready applications through natural language prompts instead of limiting them to basic prototypes.
Users predominantly create websites (55 percent) and mobile applications (45 percent), with notable use cases in e-commerce, fintech, B2B SaaS solutions, and wellness or mental health applications.
Rocket.new operates with a 58-member team based in Surat, India, with plans to double its engineering and product staff over the next 12 months. The company is also establishing a U.S. headquarters in Palo Alto, California, to better serve American customers and engage directly with strategic partners.
The startup offers a subscription-based pricing model. Users can start with a free trial capped at one million tokens, while paid subscriptions begin at $25 per month, providing access to five million tokens. Current gross margins are around 50 to 55 percent, with plans to increase to 60 to 70 percent as infrastructure and AI inference efficiencies improve.
For B2B professionals and business owners, platforms like Rocket.new provide opportunities to streamline application development cycles, reduce dependency on in-house engineering teams, and accelerate time-to-market. AI-driven vibe coding startups are increasingly relevant for companies seeking cost-efficient methods to build customer-facing applications, internal tools, or digital services without extensive technical resources.
